Question 1

What is Memora?

Accepted Answer

A private guest film for an event. People scan a QR, shoot from the browser, and the album reveals after the day — like a digital disposable camera the whole room shares.

Question 2

Does it work on Android?

Accepted Answer

Guests can join from an Android browser via QR. Host tools are furthest along on iPhone. Android hosting will keep expanding; we will not pretend it is finished.

Question 3

How does a host start a film?

Accepted Answer

Create a film, name it, set how long it stays open, add a cover if you want, then share the link or QR.

Question 4

Do guests need an account?

Accepted Answer

No. They scan or open the link and can shoot without installing an app or signing up.

Question 5

Who can see the stills?

Accepted Answer

Only people you invite. You control when the album opens and who can still look after the event.

Question 6

When does the album open?

Accepted Answer

When the window you set ends — or earlier, if you close the film. It does not have to stream live during the event.

Question 7

Can we download stills later?

Accepted Answer

Yes. After reveal, the host can download. Guests can too if you allow it.

Question 8

What is it for?

Accepted Answer

Weddings, birthdays, trips, parties, brand nights, and small gatherings where you want every seat — not only the photographer.

Question 9

Why the name Memora?

Accepted Answer

The product is the memory of the day, held until you are ready to look. That is the whole point of waiting on the album.

Question 10

Is this a digital disposable camera?

Accepted Answer

That is the idea: a limited shared roll on phones people already brought, then a reveal — not a stack of plastic cameras.

Question 11

How is this different from WhatsApp or Google Photos?

Accepted Answer

Those dump photos into a chat or a folder while the event is still going. Memora keeps one private film and opens it when the day is over.

Question 12

How do I collect wedding guest photos with a QR code?

Accepted Answer

Create the film, put the QR at the entrance or on tables, let people scan and shoot. After the wedding you have one album, not forty camera rolls.

Question 13

How is this different from other guest-camera apps?

Accepted Answer

Many of those products send guests to an app store. Memora is built QR-first for the browser. We are waitlist-only today — we do not claim a live listing or a star rating.
